The County offers collection sites in rural areas for residents to dispose of their waste most Saturdays*.
Residents may drop off household waste and recyclables at these sites. No medical, household hazardous waste, bulky items or appliances will be accepted. Trash must be bagged and securely tied. Please remember to cover any loads of trash carried in a pickup truck to prevent littering along the roadways. For quicker access, you may apply for Solid Waste Disposal Residential Decal.
Saturday collection locations:
- The Nokesville Elementary School, 12375 Aden Rd., 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Evergreen Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad, 3510 James Madison Hwy., 7 a.m. to noon.
*Please note collections may be canceled if the site is used for other community events. Notice will be given at the Saturday collection prior to the canceled collection and on this web site. Residents may also sign up for PWC Alerts/e-Notifications about Saturday collection schedule changes and other recycling and waste disposal information.
