In his message, Director Seth Hendler-Voss lauded the agency’s sustained impact on Prince William County residents, business owners, and visitors in the face of adversity. “In a word, the state of our parks is resilient,” he asserts. “The pandemic brought out the best in our amazing staff and people came to depend on our public outdoor spaces like never before.”

    Prince William County’s Regional Parks and Community Centers are true hubs of community, offering diverse amenities like sports fields, trails, pavilions, pools, marinas, and many others along with recreation programming.

  • Aquatic & Fitness Centers

    Prince William County Parks, Recreation & Tourism operates two aquatics & fitness centers offering a wide variety of programs and equipment to help you on your journey to health and wellness.
    We invite you to visit the centers online or in-person for a complete view and feel of the extensive program line-up offered from preschool and summer camps to personal training and group fitness classes.

  • Pools & Waterparks

    Waterparks make any summer day a huge SPLASH!
    Outdoor Community Pools are always a cool way to spend a hot summer day.
    Indoor Aquatic Facilities offering swim lessons, lap swim and aquatic fitness classes.
    There are certification opportunities, training for swim teams and triathlon trainees.

  • The Historic Preservation Division

    Serves as caretakers of County-owned historic structures, interiors, archaeological resources, natural resources, historic landscapes, artifacts, and collections. We also help build community identity through telling the story of our County through programs and events. The Division’s goal is to show the connections between our history, our present, our future and our growth as a community.
